Position overview:
As part of the EU & Africa IT Team, the Full Stack Developer works closely with work stream leaders to understand business requirements and develop application-based visual representations of Lear use case data to support stakeholders in making informed decisions. You’ll build scalable, data-driven applications using Palantir Foundry together with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to develop end-to-end solutions that drive operational impact. You’ll have an eye for good user design and usability with a focus on developing tools for manufacturing operations.
Main Missions:
- Design and develop full-stack applications using Foundry’s Ontology and SDKs
- Build and maintain data pipelines using Pipeline Builder and Code Repositories
- Integrate external APIs and services into Foundry workflows
- Develop interactive dashboards and operational tools that capable of populating visuals with real time data using React and
- TypeScript
- Collaborate with AI/ML teams to embed models into operational workflows
- Ensure code quality, scalability, and maintainability through best practices
- Manages execution of data focused projects using Lear’s data analytics and application platform.
- Participates in developing application-based solutions to Lear use cases from initial concept / problem statement
- Supports the development of a standard toolset to be used across Lear for data analysis and stakeholder presentation
- Contextualises statistical information to showcase trends and patterns from various disparate data sources.
- Works with technologies both new and old to integrate separate data feeds to transform and map into new scalable datasets.
- Ensuring documentation and procedures are maintained in accordance with internal practices (ITPM)
Key Skills and Qualifications:
REQUIRED TECHNICAL / PERSONNEL SKILLS :
- High level of knowledge of Low-Code UI and API Development.
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and React for frontend development
- Experience with Python or Java for backend services
- Experience working with data pipelines and ETL processes
- Understanding of semantic data modelling and ontologies is a plus
- Prior experience with Palantir Foundry or similar platforms is highly desirable
- Experience in data mining methods, data tools and operational visualisation of data.
- Familiarity with HTML / CSS Application Development Platforms.
- Confidence in presenting and interfacing with senior stakeholders from multi-cultural backgrounds and functional disciplines
- Willingness and flexibility to travel within the role.
ADVANTAGEOUS QUALIFICATIONS / WORK EXPEIRENCE
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Systems, or comparable Electronic Discipline.
- Experience with data for ML purposes and providing visualization methods that support the use of these tools
- Knowledge of architectural patterns for efficient UI development and execution.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / WORK EXPERIENCE :
- Bachelor’s degree qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science or related field
- Minimum of 3 years work experience within full stack development
- 2–4 years of professional experience in full stack development or related roles
- Fluency in English language both written and verbal.
