We are looking for a Facilities Technician. The role includes the management of associated service contracts and resources, ensuring best practice and cost-effective solutions in accordance with corporate safety directives, energy efficiency playbook, and facility policies and procedures.
Key Requirements:- Manage the Facilities Team
- Undertake facility improvements and repairs
- Co-ordinate external Contractors and ensure adherence to contractor control procedures
- Monitor and manage facility service contracts
- Raise purchase orders (POs)
- Plan and implement facility improvements as aligned with Lear's Energy Efficiency Playbook
- Develop and manage a preventative program and manage projects
- Submit PAR & CAPEX costs for any facility projects
- Monitor & manage energy usage
- Ensure facility compliance to Lear's directives, site procedures, and all statutory inspections to comply with relevant legislation
- Lead quarterly Kaizen/improvement projects
- Respond to any Quality/facility investigations
- Provide support to the Industrial Engineering and Maintenance team where applicable
- Project & Contractor Management
- Skilled in overseeing projects and coordinating with contractors
- Holds an advanced Level 3 safety certification (IOSH Managing Safety)
- Experienced in managing facilities and optimizing resources (Facilities Management Level 3)
- Good communicator
- Demonstrates cooperative teamwork
