The Payroll Coordinator’s role is to support the Payroll Manager in delivering a high level of service to the Lear UK sites. The role includes end to end payroll processing, ensuring compliance with internal and external controls and reporting requirements. Please note this is a part-time vacancy.
Scope of duties:
- Responsibility for full end to end payroll processing for assigned Lear UK Sites
- Ensure the Payroll is accurate and timely
- Ensure the correct checks are carried out prior to finalizing reports for approval
- Follow correct audit and Control Process before committing payments
- Ensure changes to processes are approved and updated as required
- Ensure Payroll Procedures and Checklists are maintained
- Ensure compliance with internal and external controls and reporting requirements
- Support plant HR teams / Controllers with payroll data support when required
Requirements:
- Proven in house experience in complete payroll processing
- Experience in manual payroll calculations
- ADP experience is an advantage
- General knowledge of journal, payroll costing, reconciliations
- Up to date knowledge of payroll legislation (statutory payments etc.)
- Good Excel skills
- High attention to details
- Good communication and employee relations skills
- SOX requirements knowledge would be an advantage
