Position Overview
Reporting directly to the Plant Manager, our future Operations & Launch Manager will be responsible for leading the Operations team in the launch of new programs and projects, as well as managing the existing business in line with the business KPIs.
You will be in charge of leading the Operations and the Launch Product Coach team to understand and deliver the program or project requirements from the design concept to installation and product launch. You will work closely with the Program Management and Design Engineering teams to understand the requirements for the Plant Operations team and manage the launch through all the gateway phases.
- Ensure program/project milestones are achieved.
- Define Plant Operations requirements from the scope of the program or project to deliver a robust process.
- Define and manage CAPEX and startup costs throughout the project.
- Plan and execute pre-production builds, including ordering new parts and BOM validation events.
- Ensure Lear Pro manufacturing deliverables are submitted on schedule.
- Review project progress with the customer and senior internal team.
- Report launch status at all program gateway reviews.
- Work with the launch team to specify and install all new equipment to ensure a robust process.
- Develop training plans and events for new processes.
- Manage multiple programs and projects.
- Generate timing plans for all launch phases.
- Ensure all product changes are costed.
- Meet all day-to-day KPIs in operations and lead manufacturing managers to deliver their daily tasks.
