Join our sales team as a Key Account Manager within the Seating division (Complete seat JIT). You will be based at our world-class UK Headquarters in Coventry (with hybrid/partial remote working patterns available) looking after seating projects for a prestigious OEM.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for commercial ownership of complete seat programs. Negotiate series projects and contracts with customers from Buyer to Senior Management level.
  • Customer relationship management – OEM Buyer / Purchase Manager / Lead Engineers / Piece Cost Engineers / Vendor Tooling Cost Engineers.
  • Manage negotiation and closure of commercial issues with timely conclusion.
  • Manage sales account with P&L responsibility, cost and pricing management and profitability ownership from project inception through to SOP.
  • Deliver program(s) with committed financial metrics.
  • Deliver engineering change quotations in line with agreed customer timeline.
  • Maintain internal reporting.
  • Support business case approvals.
  • Report out program commercial status to senior level.
  • Follow up on aging debt / drive cash-in collection in line with forecast dates.
The ideal candidate will have:
  • Experienced automotive tier 1 Account Manager – ideally with a background in complex, high value commodities.
  • Highly developed commercial acumen, be a motivated self-starter and willingness to take the lead.
  • Experience in tracking price changes, maintaining accurate records of changes including margin impacts.
  • High level communication and organisational skills.
