As part of the EHS Team, the EHS Specialist you will support Lear Corporation by ensuring compliance and continuous improvement of the EHS Management System (EHSMS). The role includes managing EHS reporting, providing refresher training, raising program awareness, and supporting new projects. Key tasks involve updating safety data sheets, conducting risk assessments and audits, investigating incidents, supporting ISO 14001/45001 certification, and managing change documentation. The position also promotes engagement through EHS Lean tools such as Leadership Safety Tours, 8Ds, ergonomic reviews, safety alerts, and routine meetings.
Key Responsibilities
• Advise and support on all EHS matters
• Drive compliance with ISO 14001 & 45001
• Lead EHS audits, risk assessments, and ergonomic evaluations
• Manage incident investigations and track corrective actions
• Maintain and improve EHS management systems
• Coordinate EHS training, reporting, and emergency plans
• Oversee contractor safety and site documentation
Skills Required
• Strong communication and training delivery
• Detail-oriented with good analytical skills
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
