The Costing/Estimating Manager will lead our finance team in Coventry, reporting directly to the Financial Director.
Responsibilities will include (but may not be limited to)
- Manage the process of new RFQ with other teams Sales, Manufacturing, Engineering and Finance to obtain the right Financials level requested by Division on time and accurate.
- Manage Cost analysis teams to be obtain all activities request by system, evolution of costs and price during the developments of product.
- Cost analysis support for new request and modification tooling and variable cost (was-is)
- Cost analysis support and manage with other Intercompany division (Foam, Trim covers, Headrests, Wire harness and Metal parts) process of make or buy.
- Providing MGR update on risks & opportunities for all development products.
- Interacting with Engineering, Sales, Program Management Teams, Purchasing and Cost Analysis
- Contributing to Lear financial strategy and decision-making processes
- To Be Successful For This Role
- University Graduate with bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting or related discipline
- At least 10 years of working experience in financial controlling field
- Ability to work independently
- Nice to have experience in working in Automotive or Production facilities
- Leadership skills with proven experience in managing successful teams
- Excellent communication skills and business acumen
- Ability to work closely and build partnership with other departments and functions including senior level management
- High level of reliability and working ethics
- Ability to work under the time pressure and deadlines
- Computer literacy with advanced MS Excel skills
