Key Responsibilities:
The main responsibilities related to this function are as follows:
- Accurate and timeous Monthly Financial Reporting
- Control of the General Ledger
- Reconciliation of creditor balances
- Reconciliation of inventory balances
- Profitability margin reviews and PPV investigations
- Monitoring of Internal Controls in terms of SOX
- Review of creditor reconciliations and payment advices
- Control of accruals for operating expenses and freight
Key skills and Qualifications:
- Educational requirement: CA(SA) or equivalent qualification
- 1-2 years relevant experience is essential. Experience in the automotive industry would be advantageous.
- Results driven, assertive and have the ability to take responsibility and accountability.
- Good people management, problem solving and planning skills.
- Proficiency in English language, spoken and written
