A Level Physics Tutor

Overview
We\’re on the lookout for an inspiring A Level Physics Tutor to join the Leapstone Learning family

At Leapstone Learning, we\’re not your typical tuition centre — we\’re a vibrant, nurturing hub where students discover the joy of learning in a fun, focused, and confidence-building environment. Our mission? To spark curiosity, build self-belief, and make every learning journey something students genuinely look forward to

We keep things small and personal — classes have a maximum of 6 students, usually of a similar age or level, and each session runs for 2 hours. We believe in creating a supportive, high-energy learning space where students can ask questions, explore ideas, and grow at their own pace.

If you\’re passionate about physics, love helping students make sense of how the universe works, and believe learning should be about curiosity and discovery, we\’d love to hear from you.

Your Role

As an A Level Physics Tutor, you\’ll:

  • Guide small groups of students through engaging lessons that make challenging physical concepts clear and relatable.
  • Help students master key A Level Physics topics — from mechanics and electricity to waves, fields, and quantum phenomena — while developing strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Support students preparing for exams by strengthening understanding, applying theory to real-world examples, and developing effective revision and exam strategies.
  • Celebrate every small win while helping students reach their full potential.
  • Keep parents informed by sharing progress updates and celebrating successes.
  • Collaborate with our friendly team to ensure every student feels supported, motivated, and confident in their learning.

We\’d Love to Hear From You If You Have:

  • A strong understanding of A Level Physics (either as a qualified teacher, current university student, or graduate in a physics-related field).
  • Experience teaching or tutoring students at GCSE or A Level.
  • Patience, creativity, and the ability to adapt to different learning styles.
  • Excellent communication skills with both students and parents.
  • A genuine passion for education and helping young people shine.
  • (Bonus points if you have experience with special educational needs or differentiated instruction)

At Leapstone, we\’re building something truly special — a place where students thrive, and teachers love what they do.
If this sounds like your kind of environment, we\’d be excited to welcome you aboard
