*Job description*
To work four days a week for 38 hours to enable an excellent work life balance.
Same day off each week.
Main responsibilities:
To work as a Room Manager supporting the Management Team as and when needed.
Deliver and ensure a high standard of teaching, learning and assessment and care for all children.
Developing partnerships with parents/carers to increase involvement in their child’s development.
To be responsible for any tasks delegated by the Nursery Manager.
To ensure that the Nursery provides a safe, caring, stimulating educational environment, both indoors and outdoors.
To understand and work to Nursery policies and procedures.
Support with the planning, which ensures each child is working towards the early learning goals.
To support and participate in the key person system.
To undertake any other reasonable duties as directed, in accordance with the Nursery aims and objectives.
Education & Qualifications:
Minimum NVQ Level 3 qualification.
A minimum of 2 years recent experience, working in a Nursery setting.
Excellent working knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage and current Ofsted statutory guidance.
Knowledge and proven practical experience of implementing good quality learning opportunities.

Empathy and understanding of all children under five.
Excellent verbal and communication skills with children, parents, and colleagues.
Ability to write reports and keep clear and accurate records.
Excellent organizational skills.
Calm and caring nature.
Ability to work as part of a team.

Paediatric First Aid.
A creative thinker.
A good sense of humour.
