Join a key operational team responsible for supporting the delivery of network and asset management activities across the business. This role offers the opportunity to coordinate work planning, improve operational efficiency and contribute to the safe delivery of essential services.

Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Developing and coordinating operational work plans for network and maintenance activities.
  • Supporting the effective use of CMMS and GIS systems to optimise operational scheduling.
  • Assisting with the preparation of weekly, monthly and annual operational plans.
  • Ensuring operational work plans are communicated clearly to all relevant stakeholders.
  • Supporting safe work practices and operational procedures across operational teams.
  • Liaising with finance, procurement, stores and administration teams regarding operational planning.
  • Maintaining training plans and competency records for operational teams.
  • Managing document control for operational procedures and communications.
  • Supporting purchase order processes for materials, parts and contractors.
  • Assisting with reporting and analysis of operational performance data.
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across operational teams.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple operational activities effectively. Experience within an operational, maintenance, utilities or scheduling environment would be advantageous, along with familiarity with systems such as CMMS or GIS. Strong attention to detail, analytical ability and a proactive approach are essential, alongside the ability to work collaboratively across departments. The successful individual will be adaptable, safety-conscious and comfortable working within a fast-paced operational environment.
