Our client is seeking a Treasury Administrator to support the financial aspects of property conveyancing and client account management. The role combines transactional finance with stakeholder interaction and operational responsibility.
Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Administering client money movements relating to property transactions.
- Managing and maintaining client and office bank accounts.
- Recording financial transactions within accounting systems (e.g. Elite 3E).
- Preparing and processing treasury transactions, including intercompany transfers.
- Performing reconciliations of client accounts and resolving discrepancies.
- Supporting cashflow monitoring and liquidity management.
- Liaising with fee earners, banks and clients to coordinate financial activity.
- Maintaining accurate records in line with regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Supporting audit processes and providing documentation as required.
- Managing shared inboxes and responding to finance-related queries.
Skills / Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have strong numerical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage financial data accurately. They may be a school leaver, graduate or someone with experience in a finance or administrative role, ideally within a legal or professional services environment. Previous experience in finance administration is desirable, along with a basic understanding of accounting or bookkeeping principles. The successful individual will be proactive, organised and confident in communicating with colleagues and stakeholders, with a positive, can do attitude and willingness to learn.
