This is a rare opportunity for an experienced valuations professional to join a growing fund services business in a senior leadership role with a clear pathway to Head of Valuations. Working across complex alternative fund structures, you'll play a key role in shaping and developing the valuations function as the business continues to scale.
Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Leading and overseeing NAV calculations across a broad range of fund structures.
- Reviewing and maintaining financial records, reconciliations and supporting schedules.
- Interpreting fund documentation and applying legal and regulatory requirements to valuations processes.
- Reviewing bespoke client reporting and ensuring deliverables are completed accurately and on time.
- Overseeing fee calculations, accruals and reconciliation processes.
- Driving process improvement and automation initiatives within the valuations function.
- Managing and developing a multi-jurisdictional valuations team.
- Acting as an escalation point for technical queries and complex structures.
- Supporting recruitment, onboarding and professional development of team members.
- Building and maintaining strong client and stakeholder relationships.
- Liaising with auditors, legal advisers and third-party service providers.
- Supporting the continued growth and strategic development of the valuations function.
Skills / Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have significant experience within fund administration and valuations, including supervisory or management experience within a valuations environment. They will demonstrate strong technical knowledge across fund structures including private equity, venture capital, debt and fund of funds. Previous experience using Paxus is essential, alongside strong Excel and financial reporting capability. Excellent organisational, leadership and communication skills are required, together with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work within tight deadlines. A relevant professional qualification would be advantageous, although candidates working towards qualification will also be considered. The successful individual will be commercially aware, ambitious and eager to progress into a future Head of Valuations position.
