The predicted salary is between 60000 - 75000 £ per year.

Supporting budgeting, forecasting and long-term planning activities, this role plays a central part in ensuring financial outcomes remain aligned with organisational objectives. You'll provide meaningful analysis and challenge while helping shape future business performance.

Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Leading budgeting, forecasting and long-term financial planning activities.
  • Supporting the development of strategic business plans through financial modelling and analysis.
  • Providing financial insight, reporting and performance analysis to senior stakeholders.
  • Challenging business plans, forecasts and commercial assumptions to ensure financial rigour.
  • Supporting investment appraisals, growth initiatives and business case development.
  • Monitoring financial performance and identifying risks and opportunities.
  • Supporting project financial management, including forecasting, accruals and benefits tracking.
  • Developing a deep understanding of business activities, products and customer segments.
  • Delivering presentations and financial commentary to senior leadership audiences.
  • Managing, coaching and developing team members to support high performance and continuous improvement.
  • Working collaboratively with wider finance teams to support strategic and operational objectives.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will be ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualified or qualified by experience and possess significant experience within a business-facing finance role. They will demonstrate strong expertise in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, business partnering and performance reporting, alongside excellent commercial awareness and stakeholder management skills. Experience presenting to senior leadership teams and influencing decision-making is essential. Strong analytical capability, advanced Excel skills and the ability to translate complex financial information into meaningful business insight are key requirements. Previous people management or leadership experience would be highly advantageous.
