Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Assisting in planning, organising and delivering events for a range of clients.
- Coordinating suppliers, venues, logistics and production schedules.
- Managing guest lists, invitations, RSVPs and on-site coordination.
- Supporting budgeting, cost tracking and supplier negotiation.
- Creating event materials, signage and collateral (Canva experience desirable).
- Integrating PR, communications and social media elements into event plans.
- Preparing event documents, schedules and post-event reports.
- Assisting with creative ideas, themes and event concepts.
- Collaborating with PR and social teams to ensure cohesive campaign delivery.
- Supporting multiple projects simultaneously and managing deadlines.
- Providing on-site support, including evening or weekend work where required.
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years' events experience, either in-house or within an agency, with strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines. They will have experience liaising with suppliers, managing budgets and supporting event planning from brief to delivery. A solid understanding of event marketing - especially the integration of PR and social media - is essential. Creative problem-solving ability, strong interpersonal skills, commercial awareness and a flexible approach are key. Experience using Canva or similar design tools would be an advantage.
