Working across board support, statutory administration and governance projects, this role combines technical company secretarial responsibilities with strong stakeholder engagement. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail will be key to success.
Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Providing company secretarial support across multiple jurisdictions.
- Assisting with the preparation of board agendas, papers and meeting documentation.
- Coordinating board and committee meetings and ensuring timely distribution of materials.
- Taking accurate electronic meeting notes and preparing board minutes.
- Recording, tracking and monitoring action points arising from meetings.
- Supporting governance-related projects and process improvements.
- Assisting with statutory and regulatory company secretarial requirements.
- Maintaining effective communication with board members and senior stakeholders.
- Supporting the development and maintenance of governance documentation and templates.
- Assisting with governance reporting and board administration activities.
The ideal candidate will have previous company secretarial, governance or fiduciary administration experience and demonstrate a strong understanding of corporate governance principles. They may already hold, or be working towards, a relevant qualification such as CGI, STEP or an equivalent professional qualification. Strong communication, organisational and minute-taking skills are essential, together with the ability to prioritise workload effectively and meet deadlines. Experience working across multiple jurisdictions would be advantageous. The successful individual will be proactive, detail-oriented and committed to delivering a high standard of service.
