Working within a specialist real estate lending team, you\'ll help deliver funding solutions for a diverse range of property transactions.
From financial modelling and credit analysis through to due diligence and portfolio management, this varied role offers the opportunity to develop technical expertise while working in a collaborative, people-focused environment.
Location
Duties for this role include, but are not limited to
- Analyse and assess residential and commercial real estate lending opportunities.
- Build financial models, cash flow forecasts and scenario analysis to support lending decisions.
- Prepare credit papers, lending proposals and supporting documentation.
- Conduct financial analysis and due diligence on borrowers, guarantors and development projects.
- Support the structuring of lending facilities, including pricing, security and covenant analysis.
- Assist with the ongoing management and review of an existing loan portfolio.
- Liaise with internal teams and external advisers to progress lending transactions.
- Attend client meetings and support the presentation of proposals to credit committees.
- Review legal, valuation and due diligence documentation.
- Monitor lending facilities to ensure compliance with agreed terms and regulatory requirements.
- Utilise technology and AI tools to improve efficiency and support data-driven decision making.
- Contribute to wider team initiatives and continuous process improvements.
Skills / Qualifications
We\'re seeking a commercially minded individual with experience in real estate finance, property lending or a related banking environment.
You\'ll have strong financial analysis, advanced Excel and financial modelling skills, together with the ability to assess credit risk and interpret complex financial information.
Experience within property investment, development finance or commercial lending would be highly advantageous, as would familiarity with AI and technology tools that support efficient decision-making.
You\'ll be an organised communicator who enjoys working collaboratively and building long-term relationships with clients and colleagues.
