Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Supporting the development and implementation of financial services policy frameworks.
- Undertaking research and analysis on emerging trends, risks and regulatory developments.
- Contributing to policy papers, consultation documents and regulatory publications.
- Supporting the development of policy relating to digital finance and emerging technologies.
- Monitoring international regulatory developments and industry trends.
- Engaging with industry representatives, government bodies and international stakeholders.
- Preparing reports, briefings and recommendations to support decision-making.
- Assisting with policy implementation and strategic initiatives.
- Supporting projects aligned with the Finance Sector Strategy 2035.
- Contributing to discussions relating to crypto-assets, blockchain technologies and market access opportunities.
Skills / Qualifications
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical, research and problem‑solving skills, together with excellent written and verbal communication abilities. An understanding of financial services, regulatory policy or emerging technologies would be advantageous, alongside the ability to interpret complex information and present it clearly to a variety of audiences. Candidates with experience in policy development, financial services, legal, regulatory, risk, compliance or economic environments are encouraged to apply.
