This role offers the opportunity to join a customer-focused insurance team where strong communication and technical insurance knowledge are highly valued. A strong emphasis is placed on relationship building, organisation and delivering excellent client service.

Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Handling personal lines insurance enquiries across motor, household, marine, travel and equine products.
  • Managing renewals, mid-term adjustments and new business quotations.
  • Obtaining and reviewing client information and insurance requirements.
  • Preparing risk presentations and negotiating terms with insurers.
  • Issuing policy documentation and supporting policy set up processes.
  • Managing diary commitments and prioritising workload effectively.
  • Maintaining accurate file notes, records and client communications.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and insurers.
  • Supporting client retention through excellent customer service and technical knowledge.
  • Attending client meetings where required.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have previous insurance experience, specifically within personal lines broking, and demonstrate strong technical and client service skills. Cert CII qualifications would be advantageous, although support towards professional qualifications will be provided. Strong communication and relationship management abilities are essential, alongside good organisational skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. The successful individual will be proactive, customer-focused and confident managing multiple priorities within a busy environment.
