You'll support marketplace growth across existing and emerging platforms while helping optimise products, promotions and overall trading performance.

Location

Duties for this role include, but are not limited to

  • Manage day-to-day trading across online marketplace platforms, monitoring sales performance, pricing and account health.
  • Support the expansion of marketplace channels across the UK and internationally, including the onboarding and launch of new platforms.
  • Coordinate product content, assets, pricing, inventory, fulfilment and compliance requirements for new marketplace launches.
  • Manage marketplace product listings throughout their lifecycle, ensuring information remains accurate and optimised.
  • Optimise product titles, copy, imagery, SEO and marketplace merchandising content to improve visibility and conversion.
  • Monitor competitor activity, customer trends and marketplace performance to identify commercial opportunities.
  • Support the planning and delivery of key promotional campaigns and marketplace events.
  • Monitor promotional performance and advertising spend, providing recommendations to improve effectiveness and return.
  • Support pricing strategies designed to maximise sales, profitability and marketplace performance.
  • Assist with stock and demand planning, monitoring inventory levels and identifying opportunities to improve sell-through.
  • Prepare regular trading reviews, performance analysis and reporting for senior stakeholders.
  • Work closely with internal teams and external partners to deliver marketplace initiatives efficiently and to agreed deadlines.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a genuine interest in e Commerce, digital retail and marketplace trading, with the level of the appointment dependent on previous experience.

You'll be commercially minded and analytical, with excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills are essential, alongside a proactive and collaborative approach.

Previous experience within e Commerce, digital marketing, retail or online marketplaces would be highly desirable, particularly exposure to Amazon, Tik Tok Shop or similar platforms.

Knowledge of marketplace intelligence tools, product optimisation or cross-functional project delivery would also be advantageous.
