This role sits at the centre of listing operations, supporting both the management of a specialist team and the delivery of high‑quality regulatory and supervisory activities. You'll work closely with senior leadership while helping ensure service standards remain consistently high.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting the day‑to‑day management of the Listings department.
- Assisting with workflow monitoring, resource planning and capacity management.
- Reviewing and scrutinising listing applications against relevant Listing Rules.
- Managing and approving data relating to listed issuers and securities.
- Supporting the development and mentoring of junior team members.
- Delivering high levels of service and engagement to Listing Members.
- Supporting process improvement initiatives and operational enhancements.
- Preparing management information and reporting for senior stakeholders.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with Listing Members and market participants.
- Delivering training sessions, workshops and system demonstrations where required.
- Supporting regulatory and supervisory activities within the Listings function.
- Participating in key committees and decision‑making forums following successful probation and training.
Skills / Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have a strong background within financial services and demonstrate previous experience managing workloads, coaching team members and supporting operational delivery within a regulated environment. Strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail and the ability to exercise sound judgement when dealing with complex or ambiguous information are essential. The successful individual will possess strong communication and stakeholder management skills, alongside a proactive and service‑focused approach. A relevant professional qualification such as ICA or CISI would be advantageous, although candidates willing to study towards a qualification will also be considered.
