Join a respected legal practice where you'll work closely with fee earners, playing a key role in supporting client delivery and day-to-day operations. This position offers a blend of administration and junior legal support within a collaborative environment.
Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Providing comprehensive administrative support to fee earners, including managing diaries, emails and communications.
- Assisting with document preparation, formatting and proofreading.
- Supporting probate-related administration and identifying opportunities for fee generation.
- Coordinating client meetings, conference calls and preparing meeting rooms.
- Assisting with business development activities, including event and travel arrangements.
- Supporting client onboarding processes and ensuring documentation is accurate and up to date.
- Managing filing, document scanning, printing and bundling (including court bundles).
- Liaising with courts and external parties on behalf of fee earners.
- Assisting with billing processes, WIP management and expense claims.
- Conducting searches and supporting legal research where required.
- Providing general office support including reception cover and post handling.
Skills / Qualifications
The ideal candidate will be educated to A Level or degree standard and have strong administrative skills, ideally gained within a professional services or legal environment. They will demonstrate excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure. Strong IT skills, attention to detail and a proactive approach are essential, along with a willingness to learn and adapt. The successful individual will be a team player, capable of working independently and supporting fee earners effectively within a fast‑paced environment.
