Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Providing administrative and secretarial support to fee earners.
  • Preparing legal documents and correspondence using templates and audio dictation.
  • Managing and maintaining electronic and paper-based client files.
  • Handling telephone calls and assisting clients professionally.
  • Supporting diary management, appointments and meeting coordination.
  • Assisting with filing, scanning and general office administration tasks.
  • Supporting reception cover and post handling where required.
  • Assisting with client onboarding and compliance documentation.
  • Supporting file archiving and destruction processes.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have strong organisational and communication skills, excellent attention to detail and a professional, client-focused approach. They will be confident using Microsoft Office applications including Word, Outlook and Excel and comfortable working both independently and within a team environment. Previous administrative or office experience would be advantageous, and prior legal experience would be beneficial but is not essential. The successful individual will be reliable, adaptable and keen to develop within a legal support role.
