Join an established Treasury team on a fixed-term contract until the end of 2026, taking an active role across liquidity management, foreign exchange, pricing and Treasury investments.
You'll work closely with colleagues across the business to manage risk, optimise performance and support wider commercial objectives.
Location
Duties for this role include, but are not limited to
- Support the management of asset and liability activities, with a particular focus on liquidity and interest rate risk.
- Monitor and manage foreign exchange exposures, ensuring positions remain within approved limits and risk appetite.
- Produce and maintain interest rates and pricing across liability products, considering market conditions, liquidity requirements and commercial objectives.
- Monitor Treasury risk positions daily and proactively identify and manage emerging exposures.
- Manage surplus cash and liquidity through appropriate Treasury investments and asset purchases.
- Support Treasury profitability through effective management of client pricing, spreads and trading positions.
- Work with teams across the business to support cash and liquidity targets.
- Contribute to the effective management of Treasury risk, controls and governance.
- Work closely with wider Treasury stakeholders to support strategic and commercial objectives.
- Provide Treasury expertise to colleagues, supporting client requirements and identifying appropriate solutions.
- Ensure Treasury activities are conducted in accordance with relevant regulatory requirements, policies and controls.
- Maintain a high standard of service and build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Skills / Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have relevant Treasury or financial markets experience and the ability to quickly contribute within a busy banking environment.
You'll be highly numerate and commercially minded, with a good understanding of foreign exchange, interest rates, liquidity and financial markets.
Strong analytical skills and confident decision-making are essential, alongside excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Experience across trading, derivative products, asset and liability management or Treasury investments would be highly advantageous.
You'll be proactive, adaptable and comfortable working collaboratively within a small, commercially focused team.
