Join a Private Wealth team on a 6-month fixed-term basis and play an important part in a significant internal pensions project. You'll use your existing trust knowledge to review client profiles, assess documentation and identify anything missing or unnecessary before files progress to legal review. Accuracy, judgement and organisation will be essential.


Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:



  • Support an internal project transferring pension structures from Private Wealth to the specialist Pensions team.

  • Review client profiles and ensure clients are correctly categorised ahead of legal review.

  • Review documentation held within the project data room.

  • Ensure the appropriate documentation is provided to lawyers preparing Deeds of Retirement and Appointment.

  • Identify and locate missing client or entity documentation.

  • Add relevant missing documentation to the data room.

  • Identify and remove unnecessary or irrelevant documentation.

  • Ensure files are complete, accurate and appropriately organised for the next stage of the project.


Skills / Qualifications


The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' relevant experience, including experience managing their own portfolio of clients, together with a strong understanding of trusts and fiduciary structures. You'll be educated to A-Level standard or equivalent and have a good understanding of different asset classes and their associated risks. Previous experience with different types of pension plans would be advantageous but isn't essential. Strong problem-solving skills, excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently to deadlines with minimal supervision are important, alongside a collaborative and supportive approach to teamwork.
