This role offers the opportunity to become an integral part of a close-knit HR team during a busy period. You'll support a variety of HR processes, maintain accurate records and provide administrative assistance that helps keep the department running efficiently. This is a temporary contract for a minimum of 3 months, with scope to be extended and flexibility to work 25-30 hours per week.
Location
Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to the HR team.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
- Assist with the preparation of employment-related correspondence and paperwork.
- Support recruitment, onboarding and employee administration processes.
- Coordinate meetings, interviews and other HR activities.
- Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive employee information.
- Update HR systems and ensure records remain accurate and compliant.
- Respond to general HR queries and provide administrative assistance to colleagues where required.
- Support the wider HR team with ad hoc projects and administrative tasks.
- Contribute to the smooth and efficient operation of the HR department.
Skills / Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have previous HR administration experience and be able to quickly become an effective member of a busy team. However, applications are also welcomed from highly experienced administrators with excellent organisational skills and a strong willingness to learn. You'll possess outstanding attention to detail, excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining complete confidentiality. A proactive, flexible and trustworthy approach is essential, together with the confidence to work independently within a small, collaborative team.
