Step into this senior-level role on a 12-18-month fixed-term contract, focused on driving structured, well-governed change within a finance function! This position would suit someone with strong finance and transformation experience who is comfortable leading large-scale change programmes.
Location
Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Lead and deliver the organisation's finance transformation strategy, aligned to wider business objectives.
- Own the end-to-end finance transformation programme, including planning, governance, and execution.
- Establish and manage programme governance structures, steering groups, and workstreams.
- Coordinate delivery across systems, process redesign, data, and change initiatives.
- Lead the redesign and optimisation of finance processes to improve efficiency, control, and decision-making.
- Drive the selection, implementation, and integration of finance systems and supporting technologies.
- Track programme progress, risks, dependencies, and budget, escalating issues with clear mitigation plans.
- Produce clear, insightful reporting for senior leadership and governance forums.
- Partner closely with people and change specialists to support behavioural adoption and organisational readiness.
- Promote innovation, continuous improvement, and best practice across the finance function.
- Lead, mentor, and develop transformation team members, building capability and succession.
Skills / Qualifications
The ideal candidate will be a fully qualified finance professional with extensive experience leading finance transformation or change programmes. You will be comfortable operating at senior level, influencing across functions, and balancing strategic direction with hands-on delivery.
