An experienced Compliance Manager is sought to join our clients' reputable trust business, providing leadership and oversight across the compliance framework on either a permanent or fixed-term basis!

Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies and procedures in line with GFSC and other regulatory requirements.
  • Act as the internal subject matter expert on compliance matters, advising senior management and staff.
  • Monitor regulatory compliance and prepare internal and external reports as required.
  • Conduct risk assessments, compliance reviews, and audits, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Oversee compliance sign-off for new business and client onboarding.
  • Manage complaints monitoring and regulatory registers.
  • Oversee customer due diligence processes and client risk assessments.
  • Act as the primary liaison with regulators, external compliance officers, and MLRO/MLCO.
  • Prepare compliance and board reports and support regulatory inspections.
  • Lead and support a Compliance and Operations Administrator.
  • Promote a strong compliance culture across the business through training and guidance.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' compliance experience within the trust, fiduciary, or financial services sector, with a thorough understanding of Guernsey's regulatory framework. You will be highly organised, detail-focused, and confident advising stakeholders at all levels. This role suits someone who enjoys ownership, problem-solving, and maintaining high regulatory standards in a professional services environment.
