This role offers the opportunity to join a collaborative payroll team supporting international crew employees and maritime operations. A strong emphasis is placed on accuracy, confidentiality and delivering payroll services efficiently.

Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Assisting with the processing of crew payroll across agreed payroll cycles.
  • Maintaining payroll records including starters, leavers, salary changes and deductions.
  • Reviewing timesheets and supporting documentation for accuracy.
  • Maintaining payroll records and supporting documentation.
  • Supporting compliance with payroll, tax and employment requirements.
  • Responding to payroll-related queries and escalating complex issues where appropriate.
  • Liaising with internal teams regarding payroll changes and contractual matters.
  • Assisting with payroll reconciliations and reporting activities.
  • Supporting payroll audits and compliance reviews.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate must have previous payroll experience and demonstrate strong numerical accuracy, organisational skills and attention to detail. Experience within PAYE payroll would be highly advantageous, although candidates with broader payroll experience will also be considered. Strong Microsoft Excel and payroll system skills are essential, alongside the ability to manage multiple deadlines and maintain confidentiality at all times. Experience within crew payroll or multi-jurisdiction payroll environments would be beneficial. The successful individual will be proactive, reliable and capable of working effectively within a team environment.
