If you enjoy analysing processes, identifying risks and helping businesses strengthen their control environment, this role offers plenty of variety.
You'll support the delivery of a risk-based Compliance Monitoring Programme while working closely with stakeholders to promote good governance and regulatory compliance.

Location
Duties for this role include, but are not limited to
- Deliver compliance monitoring reviews in line with the approved annual monitoring programme.
- Assess the design and operating effectiveness of regulatory and financial crime controls.
- Identify control weaknesses, regulatory risks and areas of non-compliance.
- Prepare clear, evidence-based monitoring reports with practical recommendations.
- Conduct thematic and sample-based reviews across key business activities.
- Support customer due diligence, sanctions and financial crime monitoring activities.
- Assist with compliance reporting, management information and governance documentation.
- Build effective relationships with stakeholders while providing constructive regulatory challenge.
- Support regulatory and remediation projects, including system and process enhancements.
- Contribute to the ongoing development of compliance monitoring methodologies and control frameworks.
Skills / Qualifications
The ideal candidate will be a compliance professional with at least 3 years' experience within Compliance, Risk or AML/CFT/CPF, together with a good understanding of the GFSC regulatory framework, the AML/CFT/CPF Handbook and compliance monitoring or assurance activities.
You'll have strong analytical, report-writing and communication skills, with the ability to interpret regulatory requirements, identify control weaknesses and present evidence-based findings clearly.
Experience of customer due diligence, sanctions screening and financial crime controls would be advantageous, as would studying towards or holding a relevant professional qualification such as the ICA Diploma.
You'll be proactive, collaborative and committed to strengthening governance and compliance through continuous improvement.
