This is an exciting opportunity for a newly qualified accountant to join a growing Carried Interest Team and develop specialist expertise within the private equity sector. The role combines management accounting, reconciliations, audit support and investor servicing responsibilities, offering excellent breadth and long-term development potential.

Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Performing bookkeeping activities across multiple carried interest entities.
  • Preparing first‑draft quarterly management accounts, including balance sheets and profit and loss reports.
  • Reviewing, coding and processing invoices.
  • Supporting payment runs and monitoring cash balances.
  • Assisting with reconciliation schedules relating to distributions, accounting records and cash movements.
  • Preparing supporting schedules for audits and year‑end reporting.
  • Assisting with auditor information requests and documentation requirements.
  • Supporting investor servicing activities and responding to routine investor queries.
  • Maintaining investor records, transfers and bank account details.
  • Tracking electronic signatures and maintaining document repositories.
  • Assisting with FATCA and CRS reporting requirements.
  • Supporting the onboarding of new funds, entities and structures.

The ideal candidate will be a newly qualified or recently qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with experience gained within fund administration, audit, financial services operations or transactional finance. They will demonstrate strong bookkeeping, reconciliation and management accounting skills, together with excellent attention to detail and organisational ability. Strong Excel skills are essential, while experience with systems such as Anaplan, document management platforms or e‑signature tools would be advantageous. The successful candidate will be proactive, collaborative and keen to develop specialist expertise within the carried interest and private equity sector.
