The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 Β£ per year.

Join a respected legal practice in a role that combines property law, client service and administration. As a Bonds Clerk, you'll play an integral part in managing property transactions, preparing legal documentation and building strong relationships with banks, surveyors and other professionals.

Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Prepare and process legal security documentation relating to property transactions in accordance with Guernsey property law.
  • Conduct property searches and review title documentation, valuation reports, planning records and related legal information.
  • Prepare reports on title and guarantor documentation.
  • Liaise with banks, conveyancers, surveyors, brokers and other stakeholders throughout the transaction process.
  • Monitor transaction progress, ensuring deadlines are met and matters are completed efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate records and legal documentation throughout each transaction.
  • Attend the Greffe to register court documentation where required.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships while delivering a professional and efficient service to clients.
  • Support the wider team with additional administrative duties as required.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will be highly organised, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities while working to tight deadlines. Previous experience within a property-related environment and knowledge of Guernsey property law would be advantageous, although not essential, as full training can be provided. You'll possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong IT proficiency, and the ability to build positive working relationships with colleagues and clients alike. A proactive approach, excellent organisational skills and a commitment to delivering accurate, high-quality work are essential.
