Location

Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Administering and managing a portfolio of trust and corporate structures, ensuring quality and timely service delivery.
  • Overseeing routine processing tasks including cash management, payments, exercise of discretionary powers, and maintenance of records.
  • Monitoring and reviewing investment portfolios and ensuring chargeable time is accurately recorded and invoiced promptly.
  • Managing aged debtor follow-up and ensuring timely payment collection.
  • Acting as the primary or back-up relationship manager for client entities, identifying opportunities to enhance relationships.
  • Preparing for, attending, and following up on client meetings.
  • Supervising junior team members where appropriate, including:
    • Setting SMART objectives and monitoring progress.
    • Providing constructive feedback and on-the-job training.
    • Delegating tasks effectively and ensuring completion.
  • Ensuring compliance with internal review action points and proper CDD maintenance across all client files.
  • Taking responsibility for continued self-development and encouraging a learning culture within the team.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will bring at least 4 years\' relevant experience within trust administration, be in the final stages of a professional qualification (e.g., ICSA or STEP), and show a strong commitment to a career in the trust sector. A good understanding of Guernsey\'s regulatory environment, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and trust administration systems, is essential. Candidates should also demonstrate excellent organisational and time management skills, an analytical mindset, and the ability to lead and mentor junior staff.
