An award-winning independent creative agency is looking for an Account Director to join their client services team on a 9 to 12 month maternity cover.
About the role - This is a hands-on role leading a portfolio of client accounts, working across a broad range of work - from creative and branding through to digital and development. You’ll act as the main point of contact between clients and internal teams, oversee integrated delivery, and play a key role in retaining, growing and developing client relationships. Alongside delivery, you’ll own account KPIs and commercials, contribute to account strategy, and line manage two account team members - ensuring a consistently high standard. You’ll work across both business and consumer accounts, offering exposure to different audiences, challenges and types of projects and campaigns.
You’ll bring:
- Agency-side, account management experience at Account Director level
- Experience delivering integrated projects and campaigns across creative, branding and digital
- Strong commercial thinking, with confidence owning account KPIs, budgets and scopes
- Evidence of retaining and expanding client partnerships, with an instinct for spotting growth opportunities
- Confidence leading senior-level client relationships and strategic conversations
- Experience managing junior team members
