A growing, ambitious and award-winning B2B marketing agency is looking for a commercially minded Finance Business Partner / Finance Manager to join its leadership team on a part-time basis. This is a pivotal role at the heart of the business, providing the financial insight, governance and commercial support needed to drive sustainable growth. Working closely with senior leadership, delivery teams and external partners, you’ll ensure the agency has the visibility, controls and financial discipline required to make confident decisions and deliver strong commercial performance. What you’ll do
- Produce management accounts, forecasts and financial reporting to support leadership decision-making.
- Own month-end processes including reconciliations, invoicing, payroll and core financial administration.
- Provide insight into revenue, margin, profitability and cash flow across projects, clients and the wider business.
- Monitor WIP, billing and debtor positions to support healthy cash flow and commercial discipline.
- Partner with delivery and client teams to improve commercial understanding and project performance.
- Translate financial and operational data into clear recommendations and actions.
- Maintain financial controls, systems, compliance and reporting accuracy.
- Support budgeting, forecasting and wider business planning.
- Act as key link with external accountants and finance partners.
What we’re looking for
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified (or equivalent).
- Experience in a marketing agency or SME environment with utilisation, WIP or time-based billing exposure.
- Strong experience producing management accounts and commercial reporting.
- Confident business partnering with non-finance stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel capability.
- Experience using Xero or similar accounting software.
