The role

The New Business Operations Manager is responsible for the processes, tools, and technologies that support the sales and marketing teams, including the company's Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform, while also managing the lead generation team on a day-to-day basis. As a LEAP ambassador, you will be committed to helping clients maximise their investment by ensuring they use the software to its full potential. You will proactively monitor client accounts and usage metrics, and maintain regular communication throughout their lifecycle to highlight LEAP's value and drive product adoption. In addition, you will identify training needs, deliver remote training sessions where appropriate, and provide feedback to other departments as required.

Requirements

  • Track long-term sales data
  • Implement new technologies as needed to support marketing and sales teams
  • Train the team in new technology and software
  • Daily management and development of a team of Lead Generators
  • Daily pipeline management activity, including call volume, quality conversations, follow-up conversations, internal dialogues, and opportunity advancing phone calls
  • Analyse and manage lead development pipeline, qualified/converted leads/opportunities, pipeline velocity, percentage of leads rejected, leads closed/won, and opportunities
  • Follow ethical practices with consumer and customer data
  • Work with New Business Sales Managers to optimise the flow of leads based on average opportunity size, pipeline velocity, and diary management; maintain an appropriate lead generation pipeline to support the continuous flow of new opportunities to sales
  • Work with the marketing team on marketing campaigns
  • Assist the marketing team in determining customer outreach methods
  • Proactively engage with key internal staff to receive feedback on lead quality and campaign progress
  • Manage events and the BDM's activities

What you'll bring

  • You must have at least three years of management experience in B2B sales
  • Leadership, professionalism, desire to learn, and willingness to contribute to continuous improvement
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • In-depth knowledge of Salesforce
  • Experience in working with marketing teams to run successful campaigns
  • Call centre management would be desirable
