Learning without Limits Academy Trust - Estates Officer - Based at Babington Academy

You’ll bring proven experience in estates, facilities or site management, a strong understanding of health and safety, and a proactive, practical approach. You’ll also demonstrate leadership, reliability and excellent problem-solving skills.
As a key member of our Estates team, you will:
- Carry out and oversee maintenance and repairs across school buildings and grounds.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements including fire safety, asbestos, legionella, COSHH and emergency procedures.
- Manage site security, including opening/closing, alarms and callouts.
- Supervise cleaning teams and manage contractors on site.
- Support minor projects, refurbishments and improvement works.
- Respond promptly to issues and maintain high standards across all academies.
This is a practical, hands-on role where you’ll take a proactive approach to keeping our academies safe, secure and well-maintained. You’ll need strong emotional intelligence, curiosity and a problem-solving mindset to thrive.
