Mach Recruitment is recruiting for several Food Production Operatives to work in a large food production and distribution site in Carlisle.

Location: Carlisle – Gavaghan and Gray CA1 3NQ, Brunel House, Brunel Way

Immediate start · No Experience Needed

We are looking for people who can work Dayshift + Nightshift. Shift timings: Nights 6PM – 6AM; Days 6AM – 6PM. Shift allowance: Days +£0.25 per hour; Nights +£1.00 per hour. 4on 4off Nights +£1.70 per hour; 4on 4off Days +£1.10 per hour. Temp to Perm.

Responsibilities

  • Packing of customer product as per required specification
  • Basic Quality checks of product
  • General production duties
  • Some lifting of product
  • Maintain high levels of housekeeping and ensure food hygiene is adhered to
  • To work effectively and safely in line with H&S requirements
  • In a fast-moving environment, maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and compliance with hygiene regulations
  • General duties as outlined by your shift supervisor

About You

  • Start immediately and are looking for long term work
  • Previous food production experience not required
