Role Purpose

This role is ideal for a graduate or junior consultant with 1–2 years’ experience who is looking to build a career at the intersection of AI, digital transformation and consulting. You will support clients in understanding, designing and implementing AI-enabled solutions, while developing core consulting skills across analysis, problem-solving and stakeholder engagement. You’ll work in multi-disciplinary teams on a range of transformation initiatives, with a growing focus on:

  • AI-enabled process improvement
  • AI product and solution support

This is a hands‑on learning role, with structured development and close mentoring from senior consultants and AI specialists.

Your Role and Key Activities

From the outset, you will contribute to real client work and develop your consulting capability across a range of transformation engagements. You will:

  • Support consultants and partners in delivering AI and digital transformation projects for clients
  • Help identify and define AI use cases and opportunities
  • Contribute to analysis, data exploration and insight generation
  • Support AI product management and adoption initiatives, including structured rollout plans
  • Contribute to AI enablement programmes (e.g. Microsoft 365 Copilot deployment and adoption)
  • Review client approaches to AI and identify opportunities to increase value and impact
  • Work across a variety of transformation areas including digital platforms, data & analytics, AI, cyber security, operating models and change delivery
  • Produce high-quality outputs including analysis, documentation, presentations and recommendations
  • Engage professionally with clients, building trusted relationships over time
  • Learn and apply consulting methodologies, tools and frameworks in live client environments
  • Contribute ideas, insights and improvements to internal ways of working, reflecting the shared ownership culture of an EOT.

Experience and Education

  • Degree (minimum 2:1) in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, STEM or related field, or equivalent experience
  • 1–2 years’ experience in consulting, digital transformation, technology or related environment
  • Strong interest in digital, technology and business transformation, with a clear interest in AI and its practical application
  • Evidence of teamwork, problem‑solving and continuous improvement
  • Ability to adapt quickly in fast‑paced environments
  • Exposure to client‑facing work
  • Alignment to Lean Tree values
  • Exposure to AI tools, machine learning concepts or prompt engineering
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 Copilot or similar AI productivity tools
  • Experience supporting technology adoption or change initiatives
  • Experience with data analysis or digital tools
