Lean Executives are supporting a major UK manufacturing group on a large-scale ERP transformation and are seeking a Process Owner to lead the Finance & Procurement workstream. This is a high-impact role at the centre of change, shaping how finance and procurement processes operate within a future ERP environment.
The Role
You will take end-to-end ownership of key finance and procurement processes, ensuring they are standardised, compliant and ERP-ready. This includes Procure-to-Pay (P2P), budgeting, forecasting, AP/AR, sourcing, contract management and spend control. Working closely with finance leaders, procurement teams and ERP specialists, you will design future-state processes, embed governance and controls and drive adoption of new ways of working.
What We Are Looking For
- Strong business process expertise across finance and procurement (broader exposure to HR, supply chain or operations beneficial)
- Experience using process modelling tools and methodologies such as Lean / Six Sigma
- ERP knowledge across platforms such as SAP, Oracle or Dynamics with the ability to translate business needs into system-enabled solutions
- Strong analytical capability, including root cause analysis, performance measurement and data-driven decision making
- Proven experience leading cross-functional workshops, facilitating discussions and aligning diverse stakeholders
- Hands‑on, delivery-focused mindset with strong governance and control awareness
