This is an exceptional opportunity for a graduate chemical, mechanical or biotechnology engineer (educated up to PhD level) or business related graduate (MBA qualified) to work within a major multinational which specialises in design and manufacturing of highly engineered products in niche markets.
This high profile role will be responsible for the overall commercial management of a prestigious product portfolio, exposing you to a high level of responsibility and visibility with exceptional career opportunities for high performers.
The breadth of this role will give you fast development as well as applying your academic and practical expertise in both technical and commercial fields.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Assisting the Global Business Line Manager in developing the short and long-term strategies for a prestigious product portfolio.
- Implementation of those strategies across the EU including business model development and execution.
- Product line pricing and profitability.
- Definition of new business initiatives.
- Providing sales target opportunities by application and geography.
- Product training.
- New product launches in the region.
- Supporting with new product development ideas and opportunities.
This is a key cross-functional role in a global business. Such breadth of responsibility demands an exceptional graduate engineer who has the confidence to take on new challenges and the humility to learn from others.
You will have excellent project management, analytical, organisational and IT skills, and whilst you may not currently have any commercial experience, you will need strong business acumen. You will have outstanding interpersonal, relationship building and communication skills.
Any product management experience of a technical product and/or product life cycle experience would be advantageous.
