We are supporting a major UK manufacturing group on a significant ERP transformation programme and looking for a Process Owner to lead the Planning & Manufacturing workstream. The Role
You will work closely with manufacturing, planning and supply chain teams as well as technical ERP specialists to ensure business processes are aligned, efficient and ready for the future ERP environment.
What You Will Do
- As Process Owner, you will take end-to-end ownership of planning and manufacturing processes, ensuring they are optimised and ERP-ready.
- Your focus will include:
- Analysing and improving MRP, production scheduling, BOM management, inventory control, and shop floor operations
- Designing future-state processes aligned to ERP capabilities and operational best practice
- Partnering with planners, production managers, schedulers and supply chain teams to validate and embed improvements
- Acting as the bridge between business operations and technical ERP teams
- Assessing change impacts and supporting adoption of new ways of working
- Ensuring ERP workflows deliver measurable improvements in manufacturing efficiency and supply chain performance
What We Are Looking For
- Strong understanding of planning and manufacturing operations
- Experience with ERP platforms such as SAP PP/MM, Oracle SCM or Workday Supply Chain & Manufacturing
- Background in process analysis, mapping and optimisation (Lean / Six Sigma helpful)
- Ability to engage senior operational stakeholders and translate operational needs into system-enabled processes
