Our client is a leading manufacturing organisation with ambitious growth plans and a strong commitment to Operational Excellence, Continuous Improvement and people development. We are seeking an experienced Head of Lean Business Systems / Operational Excellence Leader to drive a structured improvement framework across a key business and play a pivotal role within the Site Leadership Team. This is a highly visible leadership position, partnering with senior stakeholders to embed continuous improvement, strengthen operational performance and deliver sustainable change.
The role will focus on:
- Developing and leading the CI/Lean Business System strategy
- Driving Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen and structured problem-solving activity
- Improving manufacturing performance, productivity, quality and profitability
- Identifying and delivering P&L improvement and measurable bottom-line benefits
- Driving supply chain improvement, including flow, service, inventory and cost
- Leading cross-functional transformation and process optimisation
- Establishing governance, KPIs and data-driven performance management
- Coaching leaders and developing CI capability across the organisation
- Leading and developing a high-performing CI team
We are keen to speak with Operational Excellence, Continuous Improvement, Lean, Business Systems, Transformation or Manufacturing Operational Excellence leaders with a proven track record of delivering measurable operational and financial improvements within manufacturing, engineering, industrial or supply chain environments. You will ideally bring experience of P&L ownership or significant P&L improvement, supply chain optimisation, cross-functional transformation and deploying Lean/Operational Excellence systems across site-wide or multi-site environments. A hands-on leadership style, strong stakeholder management and the ability to turn strategy into sustainable execution are essential.
