A really lovely family based in beautiful Hampstead is looking for an experienced and proactive House Manager/PA/Nanny to join their welcoming household. This is a fantastic blended role covering childcare, household management, PA support, and light housekeeping - perfect for someone who enjoys variety and working in a supportive environment.

Family Overview:

  • Children: B14 (at boarding school), G10, G7
  • The girls enjoy horse riding several times a week and have limited screen time (weekends only).
  • The family has a housekeeper (4 hours/day), an after-school nanny, and a chef - they have recently reduced their staff now that the children are older and are seeking someone who can confidently take on this mixed role.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Childcare
    • Provide care for the children when the after-school nanny is not on duty.
    • Morning routine, school drop-offs/pick-ups, coordinating activities and playdates.
    • Support with packing/unpacking for trips and boarding weekends.
    • Babysitting as needed.
  • House Management
    • Oversee the daily running of their large, newly renovated four-storey home.
    • Daily walk-through of the property to ensure everything is in order.
    • Ensure the house and garden are always guest-ready, especially as the family entertains frequently (2-3 dinner parties per week).
    • Support the housekeeper as needed, including light housekeeping duties such as laundry, care of the family's wardrobe, and general tidying.
  • PA Duties
    • Manage household invoices, maintenance, and liaise with external contractors and staff.
    • Arrange travel and accommodation for family trips (including the Norfolk property).
    • Organise packing and unpacking for the children and family.

Additional Requirements:

  • Must be a confident driver.
  • Flexibility to travel occasionally with the family (not extensive).
  • Confident working varied hours: Tuesday-Saturday, typically 7am-4pm or 8am-5pm, with Saturdays 7am-7pm (with a long break during the day).

This is a wonderful opportunity to join a warm, respectful family who value someone proactive, capable, and happy to get involved in all areas of family life. The current House Manager/PA has been with the family for 5 years, and will be on hand to provide a smooth handover for the right candidate.

Start: August (with the option for an earlier handover)

Salary: £55,000-£60,000 GPA

Days and hours: 5 days per week, ideally Tuesday to Saturday (48 hours per week)

Travel: Yes, TBD (mostly to Norfolk)

Accommodation: Preferably live-in, but live-out will be considered.
