The predicted salary is between 1040 - 1248 £ per month.

For a bright, enthusiastic and hard working person, this is a great opportunity to join our team as a permanent staff member. This contract starts in April and runs to the end of September. This is a part time contract of 2 or 3 days a week with the opportunity to pick up additional work in the peak season including weekend and evening work. This will include working every other weekend.

You will work alongside a manager and café staff to ensure a high standard of customer service in our take away coffee and ice cream kiosk. For the right candidate, training will also be given to assist in the day to day running of the whole centre. This includes overseeing the below areas:

  • Serving in the coffee/ice cream kiosk, overseeing other staff and delivering a professional standard of drinks, snacks and customer service;
  • Ensuring the Café is kept clean, tidy, stocked and operating in a safe and professional manner;
  • The right candidate will also receive training to assist with the boat hire set up (row boats, pedalos, canoes, kayaks and sups); issuing customer tickets and equipment, supervising younger deck staff, and managing cash up procedures.

Essential Qualities

  • Enthusiasm towards working outside and getting stuck in
  • Proven Customer service experience
  • Teamwork - able to work in a team environment, be keen to learn from others with a friendly and strong work ethic.
  • Attitude - willing to learn and undertake training, being able to reflect on performance, be honest and trustworthy and able to use your own initiative.
  • Good level of computer literacy and numeracy
  • Reliable, organised, honest and able to work under pressure at peak times

Desirable Qualities

  • Experience in paddle boarding, kayaking or canoeing
  • Catering qualifications or supervisory experience in a café environment
  • Good PC Software literacy and/or website experience
  • Practical Repair skills.
  • Full driving license.
