Location: Newhouse Industrial Estate, Motherwell ML1 5RX

LDD (UK) Ltd, Scotland’s largest independent Kitchen and Appliance Distributor, are looking to recruit an experienced and skilled Warehouse Operative & Driver to join our team for immediate start. This dual-role position involves working in the warehouse as well as making deliveries to customers.

\n

\n

Potential candidates should have experience in handling heavy white goods and furniture.

\n

\n

Candidates for this role should possess:

\n

\n
• Full Clean Driver’s Licence
\n
• Valid Forklift Licence
\n
• CSCS Card
\n
• Previous experience in a warehouse or delivery role
\n
• Physically fit – able to lift and move items safely
\n
• Friendly and professional when dealing with customers and suppliers.
\n

\n

\n

Candidates should be well organised, trustworthy, responsible, and familiar with working in a fast-paced environment.

\n

\n

Duties Include:

\n

\n
• Making scheduled deliveries.
\n
• Supervision of moving goods in and out of the premises.
\n
• Loading and unloading of deliveries.
\n
• Picking, packaging, and labelling of products before despatch.
\n
• Stock Management / reporting damages.
\n
• Performing daily vehicle checks and reporting any issues
\n
• General Warehousing/Housekeeping.
\n
• Adhering to Warehouse Health & Safety Procedures.
\n
• Additional Warehousing duties as required.
\n
