The Role
We’re looking for a Performance Marketing Strategist to lead strategy and execution across a portfolio of eCommerce clients. This is a senior, client-facing role where you’ll:
- Own performance outcomes across accounts
- Build and execute full-funnel paid media strategies
- Act as a strategic partner to clients, not just an operator
You’ll work closely with internal teams across creative, data, and technical to deliver best-in-class performance.
What You’ll Be Doing
Strategy & Planning- Develop full-funnel media strategies across Google & Meta (prospecting, scaling, retention)
- Build and manage multi-channel media plans aligned to revenue, ROAS, and growth targets
- Identify opportunities to scale spend efficiently while maintaining profitability
- Lead forecasting, budget allocation, and scenario planning
- Oversee and optimise campaigns across Google Ads & Meta Ads
- Continuously improve performance through testing frameworks (creative, audiences, landing pages)
- Drive reductions in CPA and improvements in conversion rates
- Stay ahead of platform changes, trends, and best practices
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients
- Lead client calls, performance reviews, and strategic discussions
- Translate complex performance data into clear, actionable insights
- Build strong, trust-based relationships with stakeholders
- Work with creative teams on ad concepts, messaging, and testing roadmaps
- Technical teams on tracking, attribution, and data integrity
- Data teams on reporting and insights
- Contribute to improving Leaf’s cross-platform marketing methodology
Essential Criteria
- Based in the UK
- 5+ years experience in a senior, client-facing paid media role
- Building and executing full-funnel campaigns on Google & Meta
- Working within a performance marketing agency
- Managing eCommerce brands spending £50k+ per month
