As our Office Manager, you will play a key role in creating a positive, engaging and well-organised workplace at Leaf Living. With a strong focus on office management, you will ensure our workspaces run smoothly, efficiently and reflect our values. Alongside this, you will support employee engagement initiatives and help foster strong connections across the business. This role blends office management, people experience and events, requiring excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, credibility and a warm, approachable style. You will need to act as an ambassador for the company, championing our company values and creating a consistently positive, welcoming experience for everyone you interact with, including employees, contractors, vendors, suppliers and external partners. The role is predominantly based in our London office, with ad-hoc reimbursed travel to our Reading office.
Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate internal events, off-sites, team-building activities and conferences.
- Manage logistics for company events, including venues, suppliers and schedules.
- Coordinate employee and business travel arrangements as required.
- Support the coordination of meetings and schedules as required.
- Act as a point of contact for visitors and assist with general office enquiries.
- Assist with the management and tracking of the office budgets.
- Assist in onboarding new employees.
- Assist or direct employee inquiries on HR matters.
Office Management
- Ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of Leaf Living’s offices.
- Manage office supplies, equipment and inventory, including ordering and supplier coordination.
- Develop, implement and maintain office policies and procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organised, welcoming and inclusive office environment.
- Coordinate office equipment maintenance and renewals.
- Manage incoming and outgoing post and deliveries, ensuring timely distribution and accurate coordination with internal departments, couriers and postal services.
Culture, Engagement & Employee Experience
- Deliver initiatives that enhance company culture, employee engagement and belonging.
- Plan and manage employee engagement activities, internal events, and company-wide celebrations.
- Support and coordinate Leaf Living’s CSR initiatives, ensuring activities align with company values and objectives.
Health and Safety
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations across office locations and remote staff.
- Implement and monitor health and safety measures within the workplace and with remote staff.
- Coordinate the issuance of appropriate health and safety equipment and devices to remote workers and maintain oversight to ensure these are in place, monitored and reviewed as required.
- Handle miscellaneous administrative tasks and contribute to special projects.
- Adapt to changing office or business needs and provide flexible support where required.

Skills and Competencies
- Proven experience as an Office Manager or in a similar administrative role.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in office software (e.g., MS Office).
- Technical knowledge and proficiency in a bonus.
- Knowledge of HR practices and compliance is a bonus.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment.
Annual holiday entitlement of 25 days, in addition to bank holidays. Automatic enrolment into the company pension scheme, company contribution of 4%, after a twelve-week postponement period. Pension matching up to 8%. Following successful completion of your probationary period, the benefits provided to you will include: Company paid for CPD and professional fees. Assistance with continued study through training budget. Eligibility to receive a discretionary bonus paid annually. Eligibility to join the company private medical and dental insurance scheme.
