leaf HOSPITALITY is a hotel management company specialising in operating both branded and independent hotels since 2007. We manage every property as if it were our own, guided by our commitment to operational excellence. Our portfolio spans leading brands and distinctive independents, including Hilton, IHG, and Stanley House Hotel & Spa. With expertise from pre‑opening through to day‑to‑day operations, we deliver exceptional hospitality experiences. We also have several exciting projects underway, including the upcoming Hampton by Hilton Wigan, opening in 2027.

We’re now looking for an experienced General Manager to lead this new opening. Launching in late 2027, the hotel will create up to 40 jobs and bring significant investment into Wigan. This is an outstanding opportunity to join a fantastic brand in a vibrant location with excellent transport links, and to play a pivotal role in bringing a brand‑new hotel to life.

What we're looking for:

  • Passionate Leader: An experienced General Manager with at least 4+ years in hotel management, particularly Hilton or branded hotels. Ideally experienced working in a multi-layered stakeholder environment (brand, owners, management company).
  • Commercial Savvy: Bring vast rooms division experience, coupled with excellent commercial awareness to lead, coach, and develop the team.
  • Ambassador: Be a natural company ambassador, present in the local community, and an excellent networker connecting the hotel to its local roots.
  • Project Management: Showcase excellent project management skills, ensuring every detail contributes to the hotel's success. Pre-opening hotel experience required.
  • Health and Safety Expertise: Demonstrate sound health and safety knowledge and awareness, ensuring the well-being of both guests and team members.
  • Financial Acumen: Showcase strong financial acumen, overseeing accurate financial reporting, forecasting, and effective cash flow management.
  • Flexibility: Have a flexible schedule, including a willingness to work weekends when required, ensuring a constant on-site presence for key events.
