We are seeking a confident, friendly, and organised Intro/Triage Caller to be the first point of contact for inbound enquiries and booked calls. In this role, you will confirm appointments, pre-qualify prospects, and gather key details so our sales team can run highly productive discovery calls. You will use a simple script and strong people skills to ensure we speak to the right businesses, collect the right info, and improve show-up rates—without hard selling.

Duties

  • Respond promptly to inbound calls, enquiries, and booked-call confirmations
  • Confirm scheduled appointments and reduce no-shows with short pre-call check-ins
  • Pre-qualify leads using active listening and structured questions (team size, job volume, capacity, most popular service, rough pricing, etc.)
  • Capture clear notes and update lead records inside the CRM
  • Identify fit vs. non-fit prospects and route accordingly (book/keep call, reschedule, or politely disqualify)
  • Follow up with leads via call/text when needed to confirm attendance
  • Maintain accurate records of call outcomes and key details to support the sales team
  • Work closely with sales/marketing to ensure lead flow, messaging, and qualification standards are consistent
  • Contribute to improving scripts, questions, and follow-up processes based on what you are hearing on calls

Experience / Skills

  • Experience in inbound calling, appointment setting, lead qualification, or customer service (B2B preferred but not required)
  • Strong verbal communication and confidence speaking to business owners
  • Comfortable following a script while keeping conversations natural
  • Ability to ask direct questions, stay in control of the call, and keep it efficient
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (any platform is fine—training provided)
  • Highly organised with great attention to detail (accurate notes are non-negotiable)
  • Ability to work independently and consistently in a fast-paced environment

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys speaking with people, asking the right questions, and making sure the sales team only speaks to qualified, prepared prospects—so calls run smoother and close rates improve.
